CESENA BOBBIN LACE COURSE

During this week-end Antonia Busi, with the precious help of Liana Del Bianco, held a course on bobbin lace. Inspired by the colours and designs from the Codici Miniati of the Malatestian Library of Cesena, Antonia passed on her working experiences to her eager and attentive audience.

With cloth stitch, the wise use of colour and the technique of adding and cutting threads allowed us to obtain beautiful results, achievable even by those with little experience in bobbin lace.

The presence of our sponsor -Fil-mec haberdashery with Coats Curirini products enriched our offer presenting items and threads suitable for this technique.

It has been a pleasant experience and the Papini family welcomed us with their usual kindness which allowed us to spend a perfect week-end in the Tuscan countryside.
